Question FrontPage and Linux

Can someone tell me the advantages and disadvantages of put Microsoft FrontPage Extensions on a Linux box running Apache? I'm a little skeptical in doing this since I went to Linux for my hosting to get away from Microsoft's memory links.

though i heard its usually not recommended and its easy to get around not using frontpage but here is a good link with good info for having frontpage extensions:
