Unhappy

Being unable to (a) Compile the source distrib of Freeswan or (b) find a Redhat 7.1 compat. RPM, I installed the Mandrake release RPM of Freeswan (1.9). It all looks to be in place, but when I try to establish a connection, I recieve an error message regarding Pluto not running. Surely enough, when I run pluto it DOES NOT run as a deamon, but just dies silently HELP!!!!!
( will offer left over easter chocolate for help )!

Thumbs up freeswan + redhat 7.1

In order to use freeswan you need to compile the kernel.
I was using 2.4.3 and I download the source code of 2.4.5 (from redhat ftp, rawhide section) to compile with freeswan but it was impossible, I tried with the sourtces of 2.4.3 and I have too many problems.

At last I download 2.4.6 from kernel.org I compiled it with freeswan support without any problems.

At this moment I have freeswan running perfectly but I need help with the configuration. :-(

If I can help you anyway with freeswan let me know.

PD: I am using redhat 7.1 + kernel 2.4.6 & freeswan
