Four bus mobo only two show up

I have four IDE buses on my mobo but I only end up with hda and hdc .... where is hde and hdg? The BIOS recognizes it but linux does not.

My SWAG is that your HDDs on IDE bus 3 & 4 are setup for RAID or at least RAID is enabled in the BIOS. You probably need to add RAID support for the onboard controller in your kernel.

If not setup for RAID they might pop up in linux if you disable it.

I haven't had the time to play with RAID yet. Seach google or the website for help.
