Format error.
 

Hi all,

I am trying to install Knoppix onto a HDD partition but i am getting a error.
I ran the knoppix-installer cmd and set everything up but just as it gows to install i get a format error.

Error formatting of faild some message from mkfs.ext3: Usage: mkfs.ext3 [-c|-t|-l filename block-size] [-f fragment-size] [-b

etc etc

Any idea how to fix this?

I had them too, but I ignored them and it works.

I cant get past the errors lol

Oh yes, due the error message, the window will not close, quit the programm by hand.

I assume you open a terminal and type "sudo knoppix-installer", then a window open and it ask for type of installation and so on, till the partioner formats the disk and stop with an error. Right ?
If you format the partitions by hand it will work and if the mountpoint is defined it goes on after you close the window. (Give'em a few seconds)

Thanks, got it working i just missed one thing.
I didnt hit space to select the partition "doh" anyway thnx again :D
