For Fluxbox Users

Hello,
I have installed the latest version of Fluxbox. I have also downloaded a dockapp called "wmcpuload" and ran it. But when I restart Fluxbox, the dockapp isn't there anymore.
My question is:
How can my dockapp start automatically on login?
Regards,
hfawzy

I'm not sure what a "docapp" is, but if it's anything like gkrellm, you can start it in your .xinitrc file before fluxbox is called, and with a "&" after it.

I have gkrellm startup in the slit whenever I start flux, and this is what I have in $HOME/.xinitrc:

exec /usr/local/bin/gkrellm -w &
exec fluxbox

I hope that helps

good luck

adamboz -> dockapps is small utilities that runs in the slit, they can do alot things including the stuff that gkrellm can, you can see more about them on fluxbox website.

Hfawzy -> the -w option is to let the program load into the slit, unfortunetly not all prgrams support this option, but most dockapps do.
