fonts & fhs fc3


when i log on locally cli mode getting proper fonts, but when i telnet i m geting garbage fonts.

why FHS of fc3 has been changed, e.g /mnt/cdrom ---> /media/cdrom
and there are several new directories on root "/" directory

whats purpose of shm in /etc/fstab

Because current versions of the FHS states that /mnt is only for temporary/one-off mounts, and /media should be used for anything regular or semi-permanent, such as CD or DVD ROM drives.
