fontconfig and Helvetica?

fc-cache definitely goes into /usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi and 75dpi, and fonts.cache-1 includes Helvetica in both directories.

But fc-list | fgrep -i helv does not give any results, and KDE doesn't have Helvetica.

did you edit the xorgconf file so the X-server loads them fonts??

It's XFree86, but it's in a standard place, and doesn't xfs do that? *confused*
