Fluxbox Problems

Hi all, my question is that how can I increase the font size of problems like mozilla, firefox etc in fluxbox... Fonts seem fine in Gnome but in Fluxbox, their size are like 7-8... Tiny fonts also seem at the gnome login manager... Browsers and styles in fluxbox don't have the same problem... In my opinion it's xorg's general problem!

Second problem is sound problem... When I boot system with fluxbox, there is no sound (not just xmms, mplayer and others also)... However, sound problem disappears when I boot system with gnome (and when I logout from gnome and login with fluxboxü sound works..) How is this problem solved?

THanks all!

About the font problems in mozilla/firefox, look at this page first:
http://texturizer.net/firefox/edit.html
especially the "userChrome.css" part. This file controls the appearance of the browsers... but depends on the versions you are using, the location may vary....

About the sound, run the programs(xmms, etc) from the console and try to play some files... see if there are any error messages showed.... or try to add yourself to the group "audio"...

Hope this helps...

For the audio problem try starting a basic sound server like esd. When you log in to and fluxbox is started open up a terminal and type esd. You may need to su as root and start it. After that configure your programs in the preferences settings to use the esd sound server.

I solved sound problem by rc-update add alsasound default... It starts alsa service, so now alsa settings remain same and no problem
