fluxbox 1.0rc2 session.screen1 background


hello,
i use fluxbox 1.0rc2
i try to set differnt backgrounds for screen0 and screen3
i put this in ~/.fluxbox/init file:

session.screen3.rootCommand: fbsetbg -f ~/.fluxbox/backgrounds/slack_bg.png

and there is no effect

when i chanche "screen3" to "screen0" fluxbox sets that backgound on
all 4 desktops...

any1 has a clue what to do??

how to print output of a program (root-tail) to rootwindow on screen3??
i tried to put in ~/.fluxbox.init file:
session.screen:rootCommand: root-tail .... &

no luck

you need to use fluxspace.

As far as I know, Fluxspace is no longer supported. I tried a lengthy install process about a month ago with no success. Unfortunately, I do not have the answer to your question either. Is your path set correctly? also, get rid of the -f in fbsetbg -f ~/.fluxbox/backgrounds/slack_bg.png and see it that works. I don't know why, but it has for me in the past.

fluxspace install gives perl connected error...
tried without option "-f", no difference
