floppy error

hey there!

i seem to have a problem with my floppy. When i try to mount it with the usual:

mount /dev/fd0 /floppy

i get this:

input/output error
mount: you must specify the filesystem type

can anybody help me to solve this prob?

man mount



Seriously, either add the appropriate fstype
or make an entry with auto in your /etc/fstab.

mount /dev/fd0 -t vfat /floppy ( or what filesystem it is )
