Floppy based linux /w NTFS support

Hi guys,

I am looking for a small (1Gig or Less) Linux distribution (doesn't need X) that has the following:

1. SATA support
2. NTFS support via Captive or 3G

All it will be used for is some basic file copying and moving files on a NTFS drive. I really like this idea as I can make some init scripts that perform all the operations I want. I am using this in a commercial environment, so it is cost-effective solution.

I already have a DOS-based solution using a third-party NTFS wrapper, however is costs some big $$$ for a commercial license for this NTFS software. The $MS recovery console is too inflexible and cumbersome, so I am heading the Linux way.

I was thinking of installing Damn Small or Puppy, removing the apps that I don't want, then adding some a custom boot-splash, but was hoping that there was something already cut-down enough to save me some work.

Thanks in advance,
Adam

Have you looked at rPath? You can use their rbuilder system to create a custom solution for yourself.
