flash for linux


Hello

Is there flash for linux, or any animation software that comes close to that.

Yep, there's flash and shockwave... you can co here to download the file....

and then go here for info on how to install it....

Oh, sorry about that...... my bad......

I don't know of anything like that.... All I know about is GIMP and I'm sure that's not what you want.

The only other thing I could suggest is looking on freshmeat.net if you haven't already, or do a google/linux search?

You can do animations in the gimp..you can even edit video in it, but for flash the closest thing is openSWF.org.
