Flash as web page and ADSL speed

Hi,

I need to build a small internet site ay my home, I have a DSL connection which has only 96kbps and I really want to use flash to build the site It will have very low traffic on the site, I am wondering if acorrdiny to my DSL speed maybe the flash technology will work too slow this is what I want to ask you guys.

maybe I should build the web pages with another thchnology ? I dont want that a user will need to wait forever for each page...

thanks very much.

Juan

Pure html, with small graphics will give you the greatest speed. Everything else is a question of how much pain you (or rather, those that visit your web site) can endure; 96kbps is very slow, only 2x dialup. I personally suggest you keep it a simple as possible, with a goal of less than 15KBytes/page load. Of course, you will have to scale that back if you are expecting multiple concurrent accesses.
