Firefox not running You-tube videos, freshFedora 20 install
Hi group,
Title says it all. If I broswes any Youtube page with a video, the video does not play. The frame is blank with a blue F in the middle. Click on F does nothing. No error displayed.
Any words of wisdom or suggestions? Thanks for your time.

I am assuming you are using firefox?
I thought youtube defaulted to html5 these days so I don't know whether the problem is flash related.
In the bad old days youtube used to post a message along the lines of "you need to install the flash plugin". But you are not seeing that? You might want to research if your browser defaults to HTML5 before doing anything rash. If you do need to install flash try:

I know that there's a Firefox extension that forces Youtube to use HTML5. You might want to look for that and see if it helps.

Don't know why URL does not display but that seams to have work for me.
I used this:
Code:
https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/10217/how-to-install-adobe-flash-on-fedora/
999 rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-linux
1000 yum -y install flash-plugin
And all is well. Version went from 440 to 442.
Thanks for the instruction and your time.
