./firefox-bin :symbol lookup error:/lib/libgthread-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol:


whenever i am trying to run firefox3.0.3 it shows me the error
as follows
./firefox-bin: symbol lookup error: /lib/libgthread-2.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_thread_gettime

and doesn't open any window ....


is there any one to help me......

You cannot start 'firefox' with "firefox-bin"
Please use the shell script "firefox"
Command './firefox' or 'sh firefox'

In a standard install there will be a link from
/usr/bin/firefox to e.g. /usr/lib/firefox/firefox
