Firefox - Autohighlight search and address bar

I recently installed Suse 9.2 and I noticed that in Firefox (1.0.1) when I click on the address bar or the search box it does not highlight the text within it, so I have to highlight all the text with the mouse or ctrl-a and then replace it. Under windows when I clicked in these boxes it automatically highlighted the text in them and I only needed to type to replace it. Any ideas on how to change this?

I hope this makes sense and that somebody can help me out here.

Double click only selects one word not all of the words in the search bar
