fg_server compile error

with
Code:
make check
i'm getting the following error
Code:
logobject.hpp:67: note: candidates are: LOGOBJECT& LOGOBJECT::operator<<(LOGOBJECT& (*)(LOGOBJECT&))
gmake[1]: *** [fg_server.o] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/home/flight/fg_server-0.9.10/src'
make: *** [check-recursive] Error 1
from config.log
Code:
configure: failed program was:
| /* confdefs.h.  */
hopefully this is enough

this is being compiled on a fc5 box.

the file is fromhttp://fgms.sourceforge.net/index.php

this could be fun to have this up and running

The error message would be helpful. Post the last 20-30 lines of the failed make.

sorry for the late reply, but i finally got back.

here's some code output after "make"
it seems to go into a loop, and the quits

Code:
logobject.hpp:67: note: candidates are: LOGOBJECT& LOGOBJECT::operator<<(LOGOBJECT& (*)(LOGOBJECT&))
fg_server.cpp:868: error: no match for âoperator<<â in â((LOGOBJECT*)((LOGOBJECT*)((FG_SERVER*)this)->FG_SERVER::m_L
og. LOGOBJECT::log(L_ERROR))->LOGOBJECT::operator<< [with AnyType = const char*](((const char*)"FG_SERVER::Loop() -
")))->LOGOBJECT::operator<< [with AnyType = const char*](((const char*)"Bytes <= 0!")) << std::endlâ
logobject.hpp:67: note: candidates are: LOGOBJECT& LOGOBJECT::operator<<(LOGOBJECT& (*)(LOGOBJECT&))
fg_server.cpp:880: error: no match for âoperator<<â in â((LOGOBJECT*)((LOGOBJECT*)((FG_SERVER*)this)->FG_SERVER::m_L
og. LOGOBJECT::log(L_ERROR))->LOGOBJECT::operator<< [with AnyType = const char*](((const char*)"FG_SERVER::Loop() -
")))->LOGOBJECT::operator<< [with AnyType = const char*](((const char*)"recv(client) <= 0!")) << std::endlâ
logobject.hpp:67: note: candidates are: LOGOBJECT& LOGOBJECT::operator<<(LOGOBJECT& (*)(LOGOBJECT&))
fg_server.cpp: In member function âvoid FG_SERVER::Done()â:
fg_server.cpp:1004: error: no match for âoperator<<â in â((LOGOBJECT*)((FG_SERVER*)this)->FG_SERVER::m_Log. LOGOBJEC
T::log(L_URGENT))->LOGOBJECT::operator<< [with AnyType = const char*](((const char*)"FG_SERVER::Done() - exiting"))
<< std::endlâ
logobject.hpp:67: note: candidates are: LOGOBJECT& LOGOBJECT::operator<<(LOGOBJECT& (*)(LOGOBJECT&))
gmake[2]: *** [fg_server.o] Error 1
gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/home/flight/fg_server-0.9.10/src'
gmake[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/home/flight/fg_server-0.9.10'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
hope this gives a clue

thanks
