Fedora problem, oppenSSL

Hi guys,
I really need some help! I forced the installition of new openSSL package (out of of stupidity btw) and now the fedora starts normally but when it comes to the login manager (the graphical one of course) it hangs there and there is nothing i can do besides a typical restart. I know that kdelibs and many other application were dependent on the old oppenSSL (libcrypto 4 etc) but as i said i forced the installation othe new one.
How can i bring in normal state my pc, without formatting. I really need to find a way. I was using FC3, kde 3.3.1

Anyone ,pls?
Any ideas would be great!

Errmm.. boot up with a rescue cd or use your installation cd as a rescue cd, install previous package and next time don't force an install that most likely has other dependencies..
