Fedora freezing after logout, which rpm update fixes it?

When I click the logout button (choosing either logout, shutdown, or restart), Fedora will sometimes hang. The panel bar at the bottom disappears, the mouse pointer freezes, and the keyboard doesn't respond to my commands. I think this is fixed through one of the package updates and I am trying to find out which one so I don't have to install a ton of packages from yum which I'll never need or use. Thanks for any help!

well, its either xfree86, or the session manager, (KDE, or GNOME, whatever you have)

i say start with getting kde or gnome, then see if it stops
