fedora core kernel update


hello

please help me
i had installed fedora core with kernel 2.4.3
and then i downloaded the kernel 2.6.3
can u help to how to update kernel
please help me

First of all download and install module-init-tools and install is it follow the README.
then download the source for 2.6.3, after uncompressing it.
give these commands source tree.

make menuconfig OR make xconfig
make bzImage
make modules
make modules_install
make install

that's all reboot your system, you will find an entry for new kernel in your startup grub menu.
