Fedora Core 4 Radiusd Service cannot be started.


Hi,

Get this error when trying to start radiusd service.

Output from service radiusd start ..

Starting radius: Thu May 17 14:55:54 2007 : Info: Starting - reading configuration files ...
[FAILED]


But i get another error when i check the radius status

Output from service radiusd status ..

radiusd dead but subsys locked


Please help as i need to get the radiusd service up and running as soon as possible. Any idea what is going on? I am new to Linux.

Hi,

found out the issue started after system crash. I run the fsck /dev/hda2 command to clean up the hdd. After that, the radiusd works fine.

Issue solved.
