Fedora Core 4 - how to get file browser to open by double click on home folder

Hi guys, I'm on Fedora Core 4 and need some help. when i double click the "user's home" folder on the desktop a little "file management" window pops up and each time i click on a folder a new little "file management" window opens which is very annoying, but if i right click on the folder and choose "browse folder" then a "file browser" opens up. this one is a lot better because everything stays in the same window (no popup file browsers for each folder clicked). how do i get the "file browser" to open when i double click on the home folder instead of the "file management" browser?

Sounds like you are using Gnome.

Double-click on Home, select "edit" - "preferences" - "behavior" tab

Then check the "Always open in browser windows" box.
