Fedora 25, FXCE : switch user grayed out

hello,
i added a new user to my Fedora 25 with XFCE. And wanted to switch to it from my current xfce session. But the "switch user" is greyed out for some reason. I can logout and log back in as another user. But still "switch user" option is greyed out.
I think i had this some (long ) time ago, but can't recall the solution.

thank you

is the "current user" a guest session?

groups come to mind, so
Code:
id
output may tell.

I'm not sure what "guest session" is, to be honest. I'll check tonight ( don't have the laptop with me @ the moment). but I login as I usually do , and the user is a "normal" user "useradd <username>" ( kind of thing).. Will check though. thanks.

Just fyi, on my Fedora 25 computer with only a couple local users "switch user" is unavailable. I'm not sure what it's intended to do, if I want to swtitch the user I use "logout" and log back in as another user.

yes. same here.

On top of that , if user1 is logged in, user 2 can't login under his credentials. user1 must logoff for user2 to login. odd.
