hi i tryed to change my xorg.conf with your the info you made,
when X tryed to start it was giving me a error of
"modeline" was not the right keyword?
I included the xorg.conf and the logs

Sorry about that...

This line
Modeline "1920x1080_60.00" 173.00 1920 2048 2248 2576 1080 1083 1088 1120 -hsync +vsync

goes in the monitor1 section

and gets removed from the screen section

hello
I moved that line like you said, now I have both laptop and tv,
and the tv info says: 1080i HD.
I still have a problem with the resolution, with twinview, I use gnome
and the laptop resolution seems fine, it displays the top and bottom gnome panels
but the tv resolution is still very big, can not see the top or bottom
gnome panels but they are their I can use the menu but its way above the tv?

I dont know if this will help us here,
I went to vizo site to check the resolution for the tv, it says:

A 42" LCD, integrated HDTV tuner, 1080i, 1366x768 resolution
