Fedora 12 installed a 32 bit kernel

Hi group,

Just installed Fedora 12 on a customers server which has a 64 bit CPU but the kernel installed is the 32 bit version.

How can i get yum to install the 64 bit code????

I think you need to install the 64-bit version of Fedora 12---just installing a 64-bit kernel will not give you a 64-bit system.
