Question fail to boot. Please Help! thks

I have Redhat Linux7.2 on alpha based machine. I can't log in from the text mode. It show an error message. I couldn't shutdown it properly by the command since I couldn't log in as a root either. Therefore, I turned it off for several minutes and then turned it on again. At this time, it can't boot at all. In the boot process, it show " fail to open dkc0.0.0.1009.0". The dkc0.0.0.1009.0 is the boot_dev of the machine. What should I do?
