F7 install fail - unable to find device drivers

Dear all,

I'm trying to install F7 on a Dell XPS M1330 laptop from an ISO image on a DVD..I've done this before on a Dell Latitude D620 no problems..

After choosing:

Install and upgrade an existing system > language > Keyboard type > installation method (Local CDROM)

I get the error:

Unable to find any devices of the type needed for this installation...if I edit the install options by pressing tab on the install and type:

> vmlinuz initrd=initrd.img linux all-generic-ide irqpoll pci=nommconf (the vmlinuz initrd=initrd.img is there by default)

no change...I also tried just:

> linux all-generic-ide irqpoll pci=nommconf

no change either...I noticed on another post that the installer is broken with this problem on F7.9 but as far as I can tell I just downloaded F7

Any ideas ?.. this is my first time having a problem installing Fedora..the "linux-all-generic..." etc is supposed to fix it from what I can I putting this info in the wrong place ?

Thank in advance !
