Extracting BIN Files in Linux

Hi All

I am trying to figure out how to burn / extract a .BIN file. In Windows i could use ISOBuster or something along those lines. Is there something for Linux?

Thanks

Al.

Deducing that you mean .bin CD images

You want bin2iso ... then you can burn it with cdrecord.
Alternatively, try AcetoneISO software.

Dosn't LQ have great resources?

The .bin image is the data on an optical disk stored in raw form ... so you may be able to use it directly since cdrecord can burn RAW images.
