exact hard drive copy

Hopefully this is a simple question.....

I have 2 machines same video card, HDD etc... both are 200 Mhz machines I have Linux installed exactly the way I want it --

Is there a way I can make an "Exact Copy" of this Hard drive boot record file structure etc... and place it into the other machine and have it work with little modification if any?

I am looking for the simplest way to do this whether it be using some type of 3rd party software or whatever....

I would appreciate any help, insight, experiences or Ideas you may have.

Thx,
CBE

I thing norton ghost 2002 works with linux partitions now...

If so that would allow you to make and image of the working machine and copy it onto the other machine, exactly...

Why use proprietary stuff when you don't have to!

dd is more than enough!
