evolution shell
I'm accessing a debian 2.2r3 x86 linux box remotely from a Mac OS 10.1.1 system using OroborOSX .75a3 and Xdarwin. Things are great with the exception of quitting evolution.
I access by typing ssh -X 192.168.1.3 I can then launch all my Linux apps from my Mac such as Mozilla, Evolution, etc. If I've launched evolution and quit X on my Mac I get the following error: Waiting for forwarded connections to terminate... The following connections are open: #2 X11 connection from intranet.domain.com port 1029 (t4 r1 i1/0 o16/0) #3 X11 connection from intranet.domain.com port 1030 (t4 r2 i1/0 o16/0) #6 X11 connection from intranet.domain.com port 1033 (t4 r5 i1/0 o16/0) The next time I log on I get an error saying: Cannot initialize the Ximian Evolution shell: Configuration Database not found. Restarting the linux box is a workaround, but I need a solution. Should I be typing a command or three before I close ssh-X from my Mac? Help! |
