evolution e-mails going to junk folder???

i have been missing e-mails recently from many sources and did not know where or why.
now i have found them in my 'junk' folder but do not know why, and do not know what has happened to evolution to cause these e-mails to wind up there. they were all going to the 'inbox' a month ago.

does anyone have an idea of what is going on with evolution?

I would suggest to verify the settings in
preferences => mail preferences => junk

i removed the check from the line stating to check for junk.
i think that has done the job.
