evolution

i cant delete emails in evolution i press delete or chose delete from the menu but always they stay how can i delete them?

You can also click on View > Hide Deleted Messages or also under Actions you can select Empty Trash.

Also under Tools > Mail Settings > Other theres a option to Empty Trash on Exit.
