Ethernet card is not recognised :-(
 

I have added a new ethernet card but cant go online .....
I went to Network Devices and it does not show the card
and when I do Ifconfig, only Lo shows up

Please can someone help to detect....

Have you installed the appropriate driver/module for your card? What kind of card have you added?

What does lspci and ifconfig -a show?
