hi guys,

I found something new here.. And of course my linux box still
stubborn to access the internet so annoying... However I need to discuss about this file. It was located in "/etc/dhcpcd". Its name is "dhcpcd-eth0.info'. It contained

IPADDR=172.16.1.73
NETMASK=255.255.254.0
NETWORK=172.16.0.0
BROADCAST=172.16.1.255
GATEWAY=172.16.1.250
HOSTNAME=fsksm.utm.my
DOMAIN=fsksm.utm.my
NISDOMAIN=fsksm.utm.my
DNS=161.139.250.2,161.139.68.251,192.228.128.20,161.139.16.2,161.139.168.168
DHCPSID=172.16.1.250
DHCPGIADDR=0.0.0.0
DHCPSIADDR=0.0.0.0
DHCPCHADDR=00:40:05:85:C2:B8
DHCPSHADDR=00:01:03:40:B9:3A
DHCPSNAME=
LEASETIME=15552000
RENEWALTIME=7776000
REBINDTIME=13608000

For your information, my hostname when I run #hostname command is "immune01". But in this file it wrote HOSTNAME=fsksm.utm.my. I've tried to change it to HOSTNAME=immune01 and restart my dhcpcd. But when I looked again into dhcpcd-eth0.info file, its overwritten to HOSTNAME=fsksm.utm.my.

Any idea guys?
