/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 0: cannot open: No such file or directory
Hi Eveyone,
I'm using Slackware8.. when I use mail or pico or any mail client, I can't use it because there's not sendmail.cf and appears this message: "/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 0: cannot open: No such file or directory" though I install the full packages that come with slackware..it always happen with slackware, but there's none in redhat or other distro which I used before.. I searched about sendmail.cf in entire system but there was nothing! what should I do? please enlighten me.. Thanks in advance |
do you have the sendmail package installed on your system? that's definitely where the file comes from, so unless it got knocked on the head somewhere, yuo've not got it installed
