escputil -c doesn't work

Does anyone here use escputil? I need to clean the nozzels on my printer catridges. I have an Epson Stylus Photo 870 USB and I tried escputil -c as root and I get the following output:

Quote:
Cleaning heads...
Status Information, attempt 1 of 3:
sending job 'root@daniel-desktop1+449' to epsonstylus870@localhost
connecting to 'localhost', attempt 1
cannot open connection to localhost - No such file or directory
Make sure the remote host supports the LPD protocol

Just a thought, maybe you need to tell it where the raw printer is:
Code:
esputil -r /dev/usb/lp0 -c
.

I don't know if this is the case or not, but for my printer (Epson C41UX) I need to specify the raw device to do anything using escputil

Thanks, that worked perfectly . Before that I tried escputil -c -u -r /dev/ulp0 and it didn't work. But then I tried the device that you told me "/dev/usb/lp0" and it worked.
