ESC+/ to search command history in tcsh

Hi, all:

I just started to use tcsh instead of ksh. It gave me a lot headaches. One thing I was used to do is to set EDITOR vi and use ESC+/ or ESC+? to search through the command history. Very convenient. But in tcsh, I defined like below in .cshrc:

setenv EDITOR vi
bindkey -v

I can use up/down arrows or ESC+k/j to browse through the command history list. But when I try to use ESC+/, "/" jumped to a new line and the search doesn't work.

Could any guru help me figure out how to fix the problem? Thanks a lot.
