I have successful installation of RedHat Linux 6.2 .....now I am trying to UPGRADE it to RH Linux 7.1(from Redhat CD-ROM package)
While upgrading it comes to window where it talks about my SWAP partition.....something like your swap partition is not enough....create a swap partition in following ..... then it shows a list box ........ I DO NOT know what it is ........what to select.....I decided to use default one (the one highlighed) and I clicked on on the 'next' button.
Then it shows me a bar with 1....100% (something we alway see while installing) ..... but the suddenly it aborts the installtion....
exits from installation by unmounting all dev.......gives me message "you can reboot your machine...."
Am I doing something wrong here? Do I have to select or create swap partition space.......if YES how do do it?
