error while compiling program:/usr/include/fts.h cannot be used with -D_FILE_OFFSET_B

i m compiling a gtk appication which includes /usr/include.fts.h
file but it displays an error message as
/usr/include/fts.h:41:3: #error "<fts.h> cannot be used with -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS==64"
