Dear friends,
I have a SARG(squid report) which I generate and access via httpd /var/www/html.
Recently I have this error message when I tried to access the report site,
it says:
ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: /reports
The following error was encountered:
* Invalid URL
Some aspect of the requested URL is incorrect. Possible problems:
* Missing or incorrect access protocol (should be `
http://'' or similar)
* Missing hostname
* Illegal double-escape in the URL-Path
* Illegal character in hostname; underscores are not allowed
Your cache administrator is root.
After checking my squid, httpd logs, it seems everything run ok there. I cannot figure out what is wrong. Except that recently my system administrator did some firewall migration and he implemented transparent proxying. Wonder if anyone know what the problem is?
My squid, httpd, sarg all run in the same machine. And the reports are accessed through the IP of that particular machine. Both by internal and external IP accessing didn't work.
Normal surfing of internet through that machine is ok.
Anyone know the problem, please teach me how to debug it....thanks a lot for attending my mail...
