Error during setting up interprocess communications for KDE

I am using RedHat Linux 9.0 in my system. Recently I changed my user password using the 'passwd' command. After doing this I restarted the KDE session , then I got this error message:

"error during setting up interprocess communications for KDE
could not read network connection list:

please check "dcopserver" program is running."

Home directory : '/home/seran'
Host : 'seran'
Username: 'seran'

Then I logged in as 'root', I copied the .DCOPserver_seran__0 file to the dir /home/seran/ . I changed the permissions to 777. Then I tried to log in as 'seran' but I got the same error. During the 'root' session the "dcopserver" program was running.

When I searched the file ".DCOPserver_seran__0" in the '/home/seran/' directory during the root session that file wasn't there. Actually I copied that file during the previous session.

What is going wrong here? Can anyone explain me?
