Question Epson Equity LT and ELKS

Hello,
I have an Epson Equity LT that I got from a junk shop for about $5 and it works perfectly. It seems to work perfectly execept for the fact that it has DOS 3.2 on it.

I have found ELKS Linux, and I'm pretty sure that it will run on my machine, but before I put it on there, I want to save DOS 3 and put it on a few disks.

Once I get DOS on the disks, I can run freeDOS and format the 20MB hard drive to prepare it for ELKS. But before I do that, I would like to try out ELKS, to see if I wan to use it.

Are there any application for ELKS that I can use? I am thinking of mostly just a word processor so that I can do basic typing stuff. Is there one included with ELKS? Does ELKS come with any programs? If not where can I get programs for it?

Thanks,

John
