Unhappy enlightenment browser crash

i've been running enlightenment as my wm for the past couple of weeks and have started to experience a distressing problem. at random times when i'm using a web browser, my system will freeze up. my cursor locks in place and the system becomes totally unresponsive to mouse and keyboard actions (so i can't even kill the process). i'm forced to do a hard reboot to get going again. this only happens when i'm using enlightenment, and it's happened with both galeon and opera. it used to only be once in awhile, but now it happens whenever i launch my browser. any suggestions?

quick answers are to reinstall galeon and opera. enlightenment's stable packages aren't very mem-efficient, but they're pretty reliable. do you happen to know what version you're running? if it's not 16.5, then you might want to upgrade it.

i'm currently running E 16.5, it's the version that came with mandy 8.2. i tried installing opera after i was having problems with galeon because i thought it might have just been galeon. i'd really like to keep using enlightenment because i like it's non win-d'oh-s look. maybe i'll try konq to see if i have similiar konsequences. i'll try the galeon reinst. too. thanks for the reply.
