encrypted /home corrupted?
Hi there.

I am having a bit of a problem. I am on a hybrid debian squeeze/wheezy (mostly wheezy, squeeze only for packages that are not in wheezy yet) installation.

So, FGLRX did freeze once again. Had to press the reset button on my desktop.
And now, when i decrypt my /home. There are tons of folders called "ECRYPTFS_FNEK_ENCRYPTED.*" (the * stands for a lot of glibbirsch, different for each folder)

Is there any way to fix this or am i just out of luck? (got a backup ready, but it is already 2 weeks old)

Hmm, I rather suspect you're looking at the files still in their encrypted state.

You might try manually mounting your home directory (with ecryptfs) to somewhere else.

Oh, please take a backup first.

the output of `mount` would be useful too.

sorry, already replaced it with my backup and configured my system to do no encryption. Was kinda in a hurry duo upcoming deadlines. Thank you for your time.
