enable right click on desktop
I am having problems with right clicking on desktop..... when i right click on my desktop nothing happens .....Right cilck is working fine when i do it on some window..... So the problem comes only when i click on the desktop...everywhere else right click works fine......
Actually right click was working fine before .......i used to get a context menu after right clicking on desktop....but somehow there was a problem in my gnome-session......it was not starting metacity...so i had to restart it manually.....but after i restarted it , 2 things went wrong ......first my wallpaper is not showing and second right click on desktop is not working..........wallpaper comes when i change my workspace or change my wallpaper through gnome-background-properties... The command that i used for starting metacity was ..."metacity --sm-disable"...... I have fedora-2 running on my pc... what should i do.... plz help.... |
I'm not for certain but I think the right click on the desktop to get the small menu in Gnome is driven by Nautilus. Perhaps you should check and make sure that is running as well.
