Editing the "start" menu in Red Hat 8

How can I get to the "start" menu in Red Hat 8? Is there a folder or something that I can get to to edit the stuff? I would kinda like to do some things to it if it's possible

hahaha. RedHat 8.0 (Gnome 2.0) has no such facility. I can't even find
one in-the-works. However if you look at your redhat-menus rpm (rpm -qivl
redhat-menus) you will find a directory, /usr/share/desktop-menu-files,
where you can add *.desktop files. To change categories, you will have to
edit the xml files under /etc/X11/desktop-menus. The directory
/var/lib/menu/kde might be involved in submenus too.
