Edit comps-rhel5-server-core.xml
 

Hi ,

I built my custom RHEL ISO installation disk which includes some extra RPMs and kickstarts .
In comps-rhel5-server-core.xml I added my RPMs under the System Tools group and at present they are all visible and can be installed without problem either manually or via ks method .
But my eventual goal is to build custom category ( if I'm not mistaken) - on the same level as "Desktop Environment", "Development" ,"Servers" etc. I'd like to see my custom list say "Custom RPMs " with its group name and packages list when selecting "Optional packages" for this group .

How to edit comps-rhel5-server-core.xml in order to reflect this scenario? Is it possible at all?

I tried to add new category in comps-rhel5-server-core.xml but it make a mess in the software list within RH installation .

Any ideas ?
