e2fsck failed Corrupt superblock
 

Hi,
I rebooted my Debian system and now I get 2 partitions as they were corrupted ,sda9 and sdb7 they are /home and a BackUp folder. I don't remember doing anything particular last time I boot in my system, I was just tring to get my ipod work on Debian.The systems tells me that devices wheren't found and thatt could be a corrupted superblock and suggest me to run e2fsck -b .The fact is that those partition are ok ,I can mount them properly with Mandrake and all my data are still there! Any clue on cause /solve?

So i tried every rescue operation with no success, the fact is that is debian who is getting crazy ,I can access those partition with Mandrake and no problem.I'm running Mandrake 10.1, Debian (sarge) and as a proof this morning I connected an old 8 gig harddisk with suse on it (my first linux experience) and even with that no problem. Is kernel 2.6.8 having problem with Debian? Because right now i colud delete all partition with no problem and ,probably without reinstalling the whole thing (2 hours from the net) but i won't do it cause I cannot trust this os.I'm quite sick about this cause I was really happy to use a real GNU linux made by people and not by a company but i cannot rely on something that ,for my experience,is more unreliable than windows...probably right now there are too many Linux Media Players to care about........

I'll try to look around but it seems that noone is able to answer a simple question: Why the hell I have a harddisk perfectly partitioned and working and Debian cannot get it????????????????????? I did work on udev before but i really think about it, I couldn't mess up things by adding a file in /etc/udev/init....

So right now:
-no working debian after 2 reboot and hours downloading
