Smile E17 ecomorph throws a "texture_from_pixmap: not present" error

FYI

I've been mucking about with E17 under Debian testing/unstable on an AMD64 with Nvidia graphics, compiling and installing from source from SVN/GIT.
Recently, ecomorph (or ecomp) failed to start and threw a "texture_from_pixmap: not present" error.

In my particular case, it seems that there is some sort of conflict with ecomorph/ecomp and the itask-ng extra module. I uninstalled the itask-ng module, and I've got ecomorph/ecomp up and running again. WooHoo!

Now, merely not loading the itask-ng module didn't solve my problem, I had to actually run "make uninstall" in the itask-ng source directory in order to get me my required eye-heroin, ecomorph/ecomp fix.

I'm going to have to update my solution on this, as ecomp/ecomorph has been successfully working with itask-ng again. My best guess is now along the lines of "that's what I get for screwing around with development releases". As will all projects under current development, if a bug pops up, it will generally be fixed as soon as the code change that caused the bug gets fixed.

So... whatever the problem was, uninstalling the itask-ng module was a temporary workaround until the real bug was fixed. The solution would be to sit back and update/reinstall when the bug has been fixed.
