Question DVD-R/RW is ...?


You know there is DVD-R and DVD-rw does linux any linux os support DVD-R or DVD-RW?

yes all the newest one's do. I have SuSE 8 and my DVD-RW drive works fine with that

maybe you should try looking around the net for info. just get the dvd-tools package, should be all you need.

But easy to say then do to it,could you acid_kewpie tell me where can I find the DVD-tools package download them.

There is a patch for cdrecord to allow for DVD creation.

All the stuff for your hardware should be available at the Mandrake website and it's download mirrors...
